As Purchased Condition Of The Car

Left Side Of The Water Tank

The water tank extends down the left side of the photograph.  Note the one-inch wide steel band that holds the eater tank in position.  To the right of that support band, at the corner of the tank, can be seen a brass wood screw and a modern automotive bolt screwed into the bottom of the tank to stop it from leaking.  From the darkness of the bottom of the tank it is obvious many leak points are present.  The red hose connecting to the tank at the top left of the photograph is the condensate line returning from the condenser at the front of the car.  The two coil springs provide tension to the hook-up pedal rods to the engine while the service brake pedal connects to a brake rod to the left of the springs.  A perch-pole runs along the right side of the photograph.
